A Brother's Oath - Short Story

Vlad Dracula, Mehmed II, and Radu are at the center of two clashing cultures. After a bit of luck in a tabula game, the three boys stumble upon a supernatural enemy. Their struggle to save their homes and each other unite a region and change the course of history. 

"A Brother's Oath" is a short story that was originally published by Wordfire Press as part of the A Bit of Luck anthology honoring Eric Flint. It is a Sidewise 2024 Award Winner for short Alt-History.
